Dear Louisiana Leaders,
2016 opens the door to our 80th Anniversary as the Louisiana District. Our heritage and legacy have been molded by the passion of thousands of men and women who have labored before us. They have prayed tirelessly, sacrificed unselfishly, preached boldly and joyfully embraced ridicule and hardships.
They have toiled the ground, planted our churches and led great moves of God. They have spoke out for injustices and stood for equality. From our geographical boundaries, they have covered our nation and willingly gone to the furthest parts of the globe. Their stories are miraculous and inspiring. We celebrate every saint and every sacrifice that has led to our great spiritual success. Our history will forever be connected to our future. We have been handed a great legacy, a great doctrine, and a powerful fellowship. As we embrace our past, we look forward to the future with great hope, faith, and anticipation. We are standing on the shoulders of our great past leaders and now it’s our turn to do great things.
